Learn how to create a new balance in your workspace.
Overview
Create a new balance using either of these methods:
- Click New > New balance in the top-right corner
- Use keyboard shortcut
Option + B(Mac) orAlt + B(Windows)
Then complete these fields and click Create balance:
| Fields | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Ledger ID | ID of the parent ledger | ldg_473e03d4-e00e-42a6-919e-3bd1bb8102f7 |
| Currency | ISO 4217 code, crypto ticker, or custom unit | EUR, USDT, POINTS |
| Custom fields | Optional metadata for your balance | "first_name": "Esme" |
| Link to identity | Attach balance to identity record (by ID). Can be viewed on the identity details page |
