Creating identities
Learn how to create a new identity in your workspace.
Overview
Create a new identity using either of these methods:
- Click New > New identity in the top-right corner
- Use keyboard shortcut
Option + I(Mac) orAlt + I(Windows)
Then complete these fields and click Create identity:
| Fields | Description | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Identity type (required) | Type of identity (individual or organisation) | |
| Organisation name | Reveals if it is an organisation | Acme Finance |
| Names | Input the first and last name of the customer. If applicable, provide their other names | |
| Email address | Valid email of the customer | edwards@acmefinance.com |
| Phone number | Phone number of the customer | |
| Nationality | Country of origin of the customer | |
| Gender | Gender of the customer (male or female) | |
| Address | Location of the customer — country, state, city, street address, and post code | |
| Custom fields | Optional metadata for your identity | "kyc_status": "Verified" |
